We are seeking a skilled Category Strategist to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a growing national brand.
The Category Strategist will support our General Manager of Product across all dog & cat category functions within the business.
This pivotal position provides essential support on purchasing, pricing, and promotional strategies that drive retail revenue and margin achievement.
Collaborating closely with the Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams, the role supports the development and execution of actionable plans that maintain profitability in line with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the end-to-end management of all dog and cat product categories.
- Analyse category performance and strategic projects.
- Owning the promotional pricing execution and communication across the team.
- Playing a key role in driving product innovation and development of private label.
This role requires a procurement professional with 3-5 years' experience in a procurement analyst or assistant role within Retail or FMCG.
Key skills include strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and Power BI, and a knack for connecting with people and turning conversations into great collaborations.
