Job Opportunity: Risk and Compliance Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Risk and Compliance Manager.

This critical role will support the Head of Compliance in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and guiding us towards compliant outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be based in Melbourne or Sydney, with a flexible working arrangement requiring 3 days in office per week.

As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to shaping the next chapter of risk and compliance, working collaboratively with industry-leading professionals to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform breach assessments and provide expert advice on incident investigation and remediation activities.
  • Support the maintenance of our Obligations Library and Business Unit Compliance Plans.
  • Develop reports and tools for tracking compliance-related activities, including the Compliance Calendar.
  • Perform due diligence reviews of externally facing regulated documents.
  • Provide specialized compliance advice and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Participate in targeted Compliance Assurance reviews to assess the effectiveness of our compliance framework.
  • Support internal and external reporting preparation and presentation.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with our compliance function.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and develop strategies to address compliance challenges.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a compliance or legal function within the financial services industry, preferably in superannuation, with 2-4 years in a similar role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a law or business-related discipline (preferred).
