The role of Risk and Compliance Partner is a vital one, ensuring that our operations are running smoothly and effectively. As a key member of our team, you will play a central role in embedding risk and compliance practices within the ASX Risk Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with the General Manager to develop and mature the Line 1 Risk and Compliance capability;
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Risk Division and serve as a trusted advisor to the Risk Leadership Team on risk, compliance, and control-related initiatives;
  • Lead and coordinate risk and compliance assessment activities, including control testing and reasonable steps assessments, and collaborate with management to develop action plans for improving the control environment;
  • Contribute to Board reporting, regulatory reporting, and prepare information packs for risk working groups and meetings;
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within Risk and across ASX to further embed Operational Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks;
  • Coordinate and prepare risk forum packs;
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A proven track record of leading a risk team, preferably in the Financial Services Industry;
  • Experience in risk and compliance assessments, control testing, and issue and incident management;
  • Ability to provide risk advice on large, complex projects;
  • Capacity to grasp key concepts quickly and challenge the status quo;
  • Strong internal relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams;
  • Effective planning, prioritization, and deadline-driven work habits;
  • Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills;
