Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Host to join our team at Sea World. As a Guest Service Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide superior customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the Guest Services Office, Animal Adventure Centre and Reception desk, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling face-to-face enquiries.
  • Process Animal Adventure bookings and ticket upgrades, and conduct VIP escorts and park familiarisations.
  • Handle feedback or complaints and solve/follow up in accordance with set procedures.
  • Conduct Main Reception duties, including answering switchboard calls, mail/courier processing, and daily reporting of park operations.
  • Respond and participate in emergency situations if necessary, in line with policy and procedures.
  • Provide a thorough knowledge of all Village Roadshow Theme Parks properties.

Requirements

  • Well-developed organisational skills and strong administrative skills.
  • Previous reception experience with communication systems and/or switchboard experience.
  • A positive, friendly and enthusiastic personality.
  • A professional attitude and exceptional level of customer service.
  • Proven conflict resolution and complaint handling skills.
  • Ability to use initiative to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Must be available to work a seven-day rotating roster, including weekends, school holidays and evening functions.
  • Current Provide First Aid and CPR certificate, or willing to obtain this qualification prior to commencement.
