About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Concierge to join our team at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively listen to and respond to guest questions, concerns, and requests in a professional and positive manner.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of guests, including asking questions to understand their preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
  • Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
  • Engage guests in conversation about their stay, property services, and local attractions, providing recommendations and information to enhance their experience.
  • Provide assistance to guests with disabilities, including escorting them when requested and using words to explain actions.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
  • Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using their name when possible.
  • Stay up-to-date on local area information to provide specific recommendations to guests.
  • Communicate recommendations in a way that builds excitement and interest among guests and associates.
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.

Requirements:

  • A warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • A driver's license.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Availability to work weekends and night shifts.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • A team-first attitude.
  • A gift for paying attention to the smallest details.
