As a pivotal member of our team, the Hearing Support Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Tribunal proceedings. Key responsibilities include coordinating attendance of Tribunal users, efficiently managing exhibits during hearings, and effectively organizing recording and transcription services for QCAT proceedings.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks accurately. A C class driver license is highly desirable but not required.
In addition to core responsibilities, the Hearing Support Officer may be required to travel within South-East Queensland or to regional Queensland venues overnight and/or up to two to five nights to support hearings in other court locations.
