Job Overview

The role of ICT Procurement and Contract Manager involves overseeing multiple ICT contracts, vendor performance metrics, and providing strategic leadership for effective information management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage ICT contracts in line with the organization's strategic objectives
  • Manage IT vendors' performance and compliance with their contract, SLAs, and performance metrics
  • Maintain vendor performance metrics for technical, process, and business outcomes
  • Provide advice on procurement arrangements and prepare lifecycle documentation
  • Negotiate complex contracts with stakeholders on behalf of ICT
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential vendors and stay informed of industry trends
  • Monitor and manage IT contracts against budget forecasts

Essential Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Procurement and Contracting or equivalent experience in ICT procurement
  • Ability to manage performance-based ICT service contracts in a large organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to report issues clearly
  • Experience in procurement and contract management lifecycle documentation
  • Effective negotiation skills and ability to manage external vendors
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders

Eligibility:

  • Australian citizenship eligible for Baseline Security Clearance
