Job Title

We are seeking an accomplished ICT Procurement and Contracts Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide expert advice and manage the procurement and contract management of IT infrastructure, on premise software, software as service and professional services. This role will oversee and implement complex ICT procurement and contract management including contract negotiation, performance management, vendor relationship management, contract governance and quality assurance.

In this position, you will require highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders and build effective relationships and networks. You will also be required to undertake analysis, preparation, and presentation of complex and technical documents from a range of contract and technical data sources.

This is an opportunity for you to make a difference in this 6 month contract with additional extensions offered.

Only Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance will be considered for this role.

The experience and skills required for this role include:

  • Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting and/or a minimum of 5 years' experience in government contract management within an ICT environment.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the management of performance-based ICT service contracts within a large organisation.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in analysing and reviewing contract performance in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders and build effective relationships and networks.
  • Extensive written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and present complex and technical documents.
