Job Title: Aps 6, ICT Governance Specialist

This position is responsible for the effective governance of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services across Defence business areas. The role oversees Service Providers, ensuring their ongoing work aligns with risk management strategies, contractual deliverables, and security standards.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and actively managing ICT processes and frameworks, working closely with Defence industry partners to ensure Defence ICT services are secure, stable, and fit for purpose. Key responsibilities include contract management, stakeholder engagement, and secretariat duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement ICT governance frameworksManage contracts with Service ProvidersCoordinate with Defence industry partnersImplement project management methodologiesProvide secretariat support

Requirements:

While having a background in service management, technical ICT knowledge, and project management skills can be advantageous, we welcome applicants who may not possess experience in all these areas. We look for individuals who can demonstrate potential and capacity to develop these skills.
