Job Title: ICT Security Specialist - Governance and Assurance

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Security Specialist to drive the development and implementation of robust ICT security governance and assurance measures.

This role requires expertise in vulnerability assessment, security compliance, and risk mitigation to enhance the security of critical ICT systems and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on secure system design and conduct compliance reviews to ensure ICT systems meet ISM, PSPF, ASHS, and DSPF protocols.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and contribute to security policy and system security planning.
  • Conduct inspections and reviews for compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure ICT security compliance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in applied research, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Expertise in security evaluation, functionality testing, and system design.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSEC, COMSEC, and Australian Government security protocols.
  • TSPV clearance and ability to complete an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA).
