Position OverviewAs an AI Sales Specialist at Zendesk Pty Ltd, you will be instrumental in achieving our sales objectives and fostering the growth and integration of our advanced AI solutions.
Your key responsibilities will focus on two main areas: taking full responsibility for achieving sales targets while enabling the sales team to excel in AI offerings. If you have a solid history of surpassing sales goals, a comprehensive understanding of AI technologies, and the ability to motivate a sales team, we invite you to consider this opportunity.
Main Responsibilities- Assume complete responsibility for sales quotas and actively pursue the achievement of targets.
- Work closely with the sales team to formulate and implement strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth and meeting ambitious sales goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying their business challenges and applying a value-based selling approach to align AI solutions with their objectives.
- Serve as a strategic consultant, offering insights on how our AI solutions can effectively meet customer needs, and collaborate to create roadmaps that align with their goals.
- Provide expertise on AI solutions to the sales team, ensuring they are well-prepared for successful AI sales interactions.
- Design and deliver training programs to equip sales teams with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively position and sell AI products.
- Implement a value selling framework to empower our sales teams in articulating the benefits of our AI solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate value selling best practices throughout our operations.
- Work closely with the product development team to tailor our AI solutions to meet client specifications.
- Gather and relay valuable feedback from customer interactions to inform ongoing product improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a quota-carrying sales role, particularly with Conversational AI solutions.
- A minimum of 10 years in contact center sales or related roles within the customer experience sector.
- At least 3 years of experience in Conversational AI sales, including consumption-based AI applications.
- Results-driven with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth understanding of artificial intelligence technologies and their application in enhancing customer and agent experiences in contact centers.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
