Position Overview

As an AI Sales Specialist at Zendesk Pty Ltd, you will be instrumental in driving our sales performance and fostering the adoption of our innovative AI solutions.

Your role will focus on two main objectives: achieving sales targets and empowering our sales team to effectively market AI products. Key Responsibilities
  1. Assume complete responsibility for sales quotas and actively pursue exceeding set targets.
  2. Work collaboratively with the sales team to formulate and implement strategic initiatives aimed at revenue enhancement and ambitious sales goals.
  3. Establish and maintain robust relationships with clients, identifying their business challenges and utilizing a value-based sales approach to align AI solutions with their objectives.
  4. Serve as a strategic consultant, offering insights on how our AI offerings can specifically meet customer needs, and work together to create aligned roadmaps.
  5. Provide expertise on AI solutions to the sales team, ensuring they are equipped to succeed in AI sales interactions.
  6. Design and conduct training sessions to empower sales personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively market and sell AI products.
  7. Implement a value selling strategy to enable our sales teams to communicate the benefits of our AI solutions effectively.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate best practices in value selling throughout our operations.
  9. Work closely with the product development team to tailor our AI solutions to meet client specifications.
  10. Gather and relay valuable customer feedback to inform ongoing product improvements.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  2. Demonstrated experience in a sales role with a focus on Conversational AI solutions.
  3. At least 10 years of experience in contact center sales or related customer experience roles.
  4. A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in Conversational AI sales, including consumption-based AI applications.
  5. Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  6. Comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence technologies and their application in enhancing customer and agent experiences in contact centers.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  8. Willingness to travel as necessary.
