Position Overview

As an AI Sales Specialist at Zendesk Pty Ltd, you will be instrumental in driving our sales initiatives and achieving our revenue objectives through the promotion of our advanced AI solutions.

Your role will focus on two main areas: taking full responsibility for reaching our sales targets and equipping the sales team with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively market AI products. If you have a solid history of achieving sales goals, a comprehensive understanding of AI technologies, and the ability to mentor a sales team, we invite you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assume complete responsibility for sales quotas and actively pursue the achievement of targets.
  2. Work collaboratively with the sales team to formulate and implement strategic plans aimed at driving revenue growth and fulfilling ambitious sales goals.
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying their business challenges and utilizing a value-based selling approach to align AI solutions with their objectives.
  4. Serve as a strategic consultant, offering insights on how our AI offerings can uniquely meet customer needs, and collaborate to create roadmaps that align with their aspirations.
  5. Provide expert knowledge on AI solutions to the sales team, ensuring they are well-prepared for AI sales interactions.
  6. Design and deliver training sessions to empower sales teams with the expertise required to effectively market and sell AI products.
  7. Implement a value selling framework to enable our sales teams to effectively communicate the benefits of our AI solutions.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate value selling best practices throughout our operations.
  9. Work closely with the product development team to tailor our AI solutions to meet specific customer needs.
  10. Gather and relay valuable feedback from customer interactions to inform ongoing product improvements.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  2. Demonstrated experience in a sales role with a focus on Conversational AI solutions.
  3. At least 10 years of experience in contact center sales or related roles within the customer experience sector.
  4. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Conversational AI sales, including consumption-based AI applications.
  5. Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
  6. In-depth understanding of artificial intelligence technologies and their practical applications to enhance customer and agent experiences in contact centers.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Willingness to travel as necessary.
