Job Summary

The Advisory Solutions Principal - Gen AI role is a strategic, creative, and outgoing pre-sales professional with a passion for technology evangelism, sales, and custom solution development. As a key member of the Solutions Principal Team in Dell Australia Pty. Limited (7390), you will be responsible for architecting and evangelizing Gen AI technology solutions across multiple sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leadership and services delivery teams to articulate our unique perspective on GTM service solutions and credentialing our delivery capabilities using success stories to meet customer needs.
  • Gather, document, and architect customer-specific scope requirements and expectations for value-based outcomes in coordination with services sales executives and core teams.
  • Collaborate with other Solutions Principals, delivery teams, and subject matter experts to develop solution proposals that satisfy customer-specific scope requirements and value-based outcomes.
  • Own and drive the transition of customer-awarded statements of work and expectations to our delivery teams, participating in internal project kick-offs.
  • Manage and communicate status on a portfolio of assigned sales pursuits, consistently and effectively managing expectations on what is needed and when a quality work product can be delivered to the customer.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science and hands-on experience with IT transformation concepts.
  • Deep-level knowledge and experience with Gen AI.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies, trends, and solutions, such as AI/ML and data science, converged and hyper-converged infrastructure, public or private clouds, and X-as-a-Service.
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening, proposal and statement of work writing, and delivery of whiteboard or formal presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrix organization with a strong desire to lead diverse teams through multiple sales campaigns to completion.
  • A strong and persuasive sales-oriented personality that can partner with and influence cross-functional stakeholders from sales teams, the Solutioning Team, and delivery teams to position and win services business.

Desirable Requirements

  • 10 years of pre-sales support and/or delivery experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel throughout the country and the APJ region to support sales campaigns, customer briefings, and training.
