About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Educator for Dementia Care to join our team at Dementia Australia. As a key member of our Centre for Dementia Learning, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education services to support individuals living with dementia and their carers.

The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field, including but not limited to; allied health, nursing, leisure and lifestyle. A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor) or Diploma in Adult Education would be highly regarded. You will also have 1-2 years' hands-on experience in providing support to people living with dementia, along with demonstrated experience in designing, delivering, and assessing adult education programs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering structured professional education sessions to accredited and non-accredited standards;
  • Strengthening relationships with organisations by promoting Dementia Australia programs and services;
  • Daily travel across various locations, including aged care facilities, public venues, and via online video conferencing platforms;
  • Continuously improving all tasks and initiatives, ensuring programs comply with professional standards and delivering education to the highest standard.
