Job Title: Senior Freight Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Freight Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of transportation and ensuring the seamless execution of projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of freight management principles and experience working in regulated environments. You will be responsible for establishing pricing methodologies, managing commercial arrangements, and overseeing regulatory and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Freight Strategy Development: Establish and implement effective freight strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Pricing and Commercial Management: Develop and manage pricing methodologies, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee regulatory and compliance activities, including data gathering, reporting, and assurance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive project success and achieve business goals.
Requirements
  • Senior Economic Commercial Experience: Proven experience working in senior economic commercial roles, preferably in regulated environments.
  • Regulatory Framework Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including infrastructure pricing and commercial negotiations.
  • Infrastructure Pricing Expertise: Strong experience in infrastructure pricing, including development of pricing methodologies and commercial agreements.
  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills: Ability to lead teams, motivate staff, and drive results-oriented performance.
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as economics, finance, or law.
