Job Title: Student Guidance Professional

The Student Counsellor will provide support and guidance to students aged 5-13, focusing on their social and emotional development. This role is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping students achieve their full potential.

About the Role:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions as needed to support students' mental health and wellbeing.
  • Liaise with the School Wellbeing Team regarding student engagement and progress.
  • Establish connections with external support agencies and specialists for referrals and collaborations.
  • Support critical incident responses and debriefing to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation to track student progress and achievement.
  • Prepare written and oral reports for staff presentations to inform decision-making and improve student outcomes.
  • Enhance home and school relationships through liaison activities to promote student success.

This role requires a high level of interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and commitment to ongoing professional development in student wellbeing.
