Job Title: Career Development Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Career Development Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing careers guidance and support to students, parents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality careers guidance and advice to students, parents and staff
  • To deliver VTAC and pathway materials and conduct interviews with Year 12 VCE students
  • To organize the Year 10 Work Experience Program, including liaison with employers
  • To support sub-schools with careers support for students seeking alternative pathways
  • To coordinate the Year 9 Morrisby Careers program
  • To coordinate the Year 9 Careers Day program
  • To support VCE-VM students to find Structured Workplace Learning placements
  • To communicate careers information to students
  • To attend local Careers network meetings
  • To liaise with external community and industry organizations

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated highly developed organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to build productive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Qualification in careers or capacity to undertake further study
  • High level of administrative skills and computer literacy
