Full Time Perm Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Lead to play a critical role in modernising our core systems. This involves transitioning from a legacy monolithic architecture and desktop application to a modern, cloud-based platform primarily utilising Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The Role

As our Cloud Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for setting the technical and architectural direction, elevating engineering standards, and ensuring a seamless transition to a more secure, scalable, efficient, and agile technology stack. You will collaborate with the Head of Engineering to drive innovation and experimentation across the Product Engineering organisation.

What We Are Looking For
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of leading large-scale Modernisation / migration projects.
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and ecosystem.
  • A strong understanding of modern architecture patterns, such as cloud-native, microservices, serverless computing, and containerisation.
  • Proficiency in a range of programming languages and technologies relevant to cloud-based development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Salary

$150,000 per annum.
