Senior DevOps Engineer

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Developer experience at Greenstone?

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Platform Engineering team and drive innovation through enabling Product teams. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for defining patterns and standards, mentoring teams, and building core platform capabilities.

The role:

  • Enable teams by developing high-quality solutions and identifying opportunities for improvement through tooling, automation, and optimization.
  • Define standards and frameworks to ensure efficiency and quality in development practices.
  • Share knowledge and uplift capabilities through documentation, knowledge sharing sessions, and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with development teams to anticipate needs and provide support in a timely and professional manner.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering with a strong understanding of software development and operations principles.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as C#, SQL, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, infrastructure as code, containerization technologies, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for technical education and upskilling.
