Senior Event Manager

The Company:

We are a leading recruitment agency specializing in event positions in Australia. Our team prides itself on professionalism, creativity, and meticulous event execution.

Position Terms:

  • Full-time permanent role, hybrid working
  • Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 plus super
  • Occasional domestic travel for events required
The Role:

The Senior Event Manager will oversee and lead the corporate event portfolio, consisting of roadshows, conferences, gala dinners, and more.

This role requires a strategic and hands-on approach to planning, executing, and evaluating events. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing comprehensive event strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and brand standards
  • Managing all event production, logistical and operational aspects of each event
  • Preparing, managing, and overseeing event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial targets are met
  • Liaising with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to establish strong working relationships and maintain seamless communication
  • Identifying potential risks, enforcing compliance with health, safety, and corporate policies, and implementing contingency plans as needed
  • Conducting post-event reviews to assess outcomes, gather insights, and drive continuous improvement
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have strong client and stakeholder management skills, with strong attention to detail. Experience working in a corporate environment or with corporate clients is essential for this role.

  • Experience managing conferences, award shows, gala dinners, and other corporate events is essential
  • Exceptional client and supplier relationship management skills
  • Experience working in event production is highly desirable
  • Be highly motivated and results-driven with exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills
  • Excellent budget management skills
  • Excellent judgement and decision-making skills
  • An understanding of technical requirements for events is desirable
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours for events when required
  • Ability to travel interstate for events when required
