Key Responsibilities:

  • To establish links with relevant services, supports, and opportunities that enhance the lives of young carers.
  • To advocate on behalf of young carers, providing guidance and support as they navigate life's challenges.
  • To promote our program at schools and community events, raising awareness and encouraging participation.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Services (or equivalent qualifications and extensive experience).
  • Experience in case management, youth work, or community services, with a focus on trauma-informed and culturally inclusive practices.
  • Strong communication, group facilitation, and advocacy skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • An ACT Working with Vulnerable People Check and a current Driver's Licence.
