**Job Opportunity: Therapeutic Youth Worker**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Therapeutic Youth Worker. This role requires someone who is passionate about working with young people, particularly those with complex needs.

As a Therapeutic Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering therapeutic support to vulnerable children and young people who are unable to live in foster care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to address their emotional, social, and behavioral challenges, supporting their healing and growth in both home and community settings.

Many of these young people face difficulties related to mental health, disability, and behavior, which can pose risks to themselves and others. Therefore, it is essential that you possess the necessary skills and qualities to provide effective support and guidance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To deliver therapeutic support to young people with complex needs
  • To work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • To provide emotional support and guidance to young people, helping them to manage their behavior and make positive lifestyle choices
  • To work in partnership with families and carers to ensure that young people receive consistent and supportive care

**Requirements:**

  • Certificate IV in Community Services or Youth Work (or related) or higher
  • Valid and current Driver's License
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by employer)
  • Valid Employee Working with Vulnerable People Check
