About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Co-Packing Operations Manager to join our team at L'Oréal Australia. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of promotional contract packing requirements for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the co-packing planning process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to our customers.
  • Manage the daily operations of our co-packing team, including scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans and component deliveries.
  • Monitor and analyze co-packers' performance, including production, quality, and stock levels, to ensure compliance with L'Oréal's quality and traceability standards.
  • Lead and coordinate improvement projects to simplify and automate processes, driving productivity and reducing complexity in our supply chain.
  • Compile and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational reports to provide visibility to the business and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Experience working with co-packers or external third-party suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP or other supply chain management software.
