Role Overview:
The Technical Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in accelerating new product adoption and driving business growth. As a subject matter expert, you will provide tailored technical guidance and support to the sales team, ensuring seamless sales and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Aggreko's products and solutions, with a focus on mining applications.
- Collaborate with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, addressing technical inquiries and providing expert assistance.
- Liaise with Aggreko technicians and management to provide technical solutions for low and high-voltage applications.
- Lead the implementation of hybridized and low-emission solutions, promoting green energy upgrades and ensuring customer success.
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings to establish parameters for safe and efficient solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Aggreko's HSE policies and procedures, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Formulate a technical application sales plan for the allocated region, conducting regular customer visits to provide excellent feedback.
Requirements:
- Robust technical proficiency, with a strong focus on mining applications and greener energy solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a growth mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a dedication to safety, quality, and customer experience.
- In-depth understanding of factors critical for successful new product introduction and integration, with basic project management skills.
- Proficient in coordinating installations of Aggreko energy solutions.
