Role Overview

As an Area Manager at Weir, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer support. This position requires a strong understanding of our products and services, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.



Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth: Develop strategies to penetrate assigned accounts, initiate new business, and grow existing business through team and individual selling efforts.
  • Strategy Development: Create and implement sales plans to achieve targets, including market research, competitor analysis, and customer profiling.
  • Customer Support: Provide world-class customer and product support, including high-level correspondence, tender responses, and contractual processes.
  • Service Delivery: Perform onsite and workshop-based inspections to optimize ESCO product performance, and provide technical advice to customers.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors and support the development of a world-class safety culture.


Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications: Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Strong exposure and experience in heavy industry operations or mining, with a focus on sales, customer support, and service delivery.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in data entry and computer applications, with a focus on sales and customer support software.
