Senior Business Development Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our sales team at Haynes Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in driving new business growth and expansion in the Australian market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver a pure growth model of high value new business by actively identifying, hunting and acquiring new opportunities within the Australian market
* Work closely with the Australian Managing Director and Infopro Digital Automotive executive team to develop and implement challenging but achievable sales and marketing strategies for the Austral territory
* Identify key stakeholders within potential new customers and build long lasting relationships
* Attend conferences, trade shows and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with new trends
* Develop and deliver professional proposals and presentations
* Deliver formal account management programs
* Develop realistic revenue and expense budgets and forecasts with P&L responsibility
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a senior position within the automotive industry
* Sound understanding of the automotive repair and aftermarket or Automotive Lubricants industry
* Proven track record of success in delivering high value new business
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral (including presentations)
* Outstanding customer relationship skills
* High level of computer literacy
* First class planning, organisational and administrative skills
* Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels (with a focus on senior management decision makers) in a wide range of organisations
* Demonstrable track record of national and major customer business development and relationship management with P&L responsibility
* Experience using CRM systems for analysis, reporting and planning and a thorough understanding of how to use data to drive business outcomes
