About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Event Operations Coordinator to join our team at The Star Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in hospitality and event management.

Job Summary

The Event Operations Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Events Director, coordinating events and ensuring seamless execution. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support, including handling correspondence and internal paperwork.
  • Coordinating events, including account management and floor planning.
  • Preparing confidential documents and compiling reports for stakeholders.
  • Drafting minutes of meetings and distributing them to relevant parties.
  • Overseeing event bookings, including ticket sales and guest liaison.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in administration or a related field.
  • Proven skills in using Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
