Job Description

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive business growth and profitability in our Queensland Market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to optimize financial performance and achieve revenue targets.

You will work closely with our senior leadership team to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to drive sustained growth and profitability.

Your expertise in market analysis, business development, and financial management will be crucial in driving sales growth and maximizing gross margins.

Responsibilities
  1. Secure the performance measurement and support to improve performance of the major KPI's to ensure the sustained profitable growth agenda for the Queensland Market.
  2. Drive sales growth and maximise gross margins through strategic market analysis and business development initiatives in Queensland.
  3. Leverage market insights to develop and implement effective sales strategies, optimising financial performance and achieving revenue targets.
  4. Steer and challenge the organisation by sharing functional expertise and providing financial recommendations to drive sustained growth, optimal performance and long-term profitability.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience as a leader in retail or a related industry, with a solid understanding of commercial business knowledge and cross-functional understanding of furniture retailing.
  2. Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to recognise trends and translate them into business opportunities.
  3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships with a wide variety of business partners and influence decisions with stakeholders.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, and experience with PowerBI is highly regarded.
