
Organisational Performance Specialist

The Operations Manager is accountable for overseeing safe waste collection and transportation activities within the operational area, ensuring adherence to established systems, policies, and procedures.
In this position, you will be responsible for managing resource allocation and operational activities to achieve set objectives and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will also be accountable for managing team performance, planning, and achievement of goals and objectives, as well as managing financial outcomes and reporting for the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee delivery of Waste Collection Services in accordance with proposed targets and key performance indicators.
- Manage resourcing allocation to ensure achievement of objectives and associated key performance indicators.
- Contribute to business opportunity evaluation & new business bid preparation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industrial instruments for direct reports (Awards & EBA's).
- Guarantee safety compliance requirements are adhered to in relation to NHVR standards in conjunction with the SHEQ team.
- Undertake duties as reasonably directed by the Sydney Operations Manager.
Requirements:
- Highly experienced in waste / logistics transport or similar industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in people management.
- Advanced Fatigue Management Certification (desirable).
- Demonstrated finance and budget management experience within a large organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in finding and driving organisational efficiencies.
- Demonstrated success in managing safety and environmental matters within regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Australian Drivers Licence.
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role.
