Strategic Governance Professional

This is a dynamic role with a strong focus on collaboration, strategic oversight, and continuous improvement. You will be part of a centre-led team, working across multiple directorates to strengthen governance and compliance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide governance support across the organisation and its subsidiary entities.
  • Administer board sub-committees and working groups as required.
  • Oversee compliance and legal matters, including managing the Compliance Register.
  • Review and refresh policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate legal services and manage inter-entity contracts.
  • Act as company secretary for subsidiaries, maintaining governance documentation and supporting board functions.
  • Advise executive leadership on governance and compliance matters.

You will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence within the organisation.

Requirements:
  • A confident leader with a strategic mindset and passion for good governance.
  • Extensive experience in governance, legal compliance, and risk management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience in the not-for-profit, aged care, or community services sector.
