Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our Infrastructure Services Transport team in McGraths Hill, working part-time. This role will provide administrative support for our operations and offer an opportunity to take ownership of tasks, demonstrate accountability, and showcase initiative.
Job Summary
This position involves processing Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable, general accounting duties, data entry & invoicing, preparation and processing payments, bank reconciliations, journal or data entries, extracting statistical data and reports from records for analysis, assisting with month-end accounting procedures, producing weekly, fortnightly, monthly and quarterly reports as required, and maintaining records of documents processed for ready access and producing various reports according to operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and perform general accounting duties such as data entry and invoicing;
- Prepare and process payments, and perform bank reconciliations;
- Extract statistical data and reports from records for analysis, and assist with month-end accounting procedures;
- Maintain accurate records of documents processed, and produce reports as required;
- Provide administrative support to the Project Site Team, and contribute to the smooth operation of the team.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require strong knowledge of Excel and exposure to an ERP system (ideally Oracle/JDE) would be advantageous. You will also need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work accurately under pressure, and meet deadlines as required.

Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 AUD, depending on experience.
