Role Overview

The E-Commerce Analyst is responsible for managing the digital strategy and day-to-day operations of an e-commerce business. This role involves identifying opportunities to drive sales, visibility, and efficiencies on e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy for e-commerce growth
  • Manage daily operations, including product setup, catalog auditing, operational platform management, promotional strategy, and brand registry
  • Discover and recommend new opportunities, tools, and ideas to enhance e-commerce performance
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and agency partners on digital shelf execution and management
  • Enhance performance on retailer websites
  • Ensure compliance across product categories
  • Analyze category and product trends to inform executable strategies
  • Provide expertise to the broader sales team on ecommerce growth plans for top retailers
Requirements
  • E-commerce marketplace management experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales/account management strongly preferred
  • National account retail sales experience for a CPG company preferred
  • Customer Systems/Portal experience preferred
  • Project management skills preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of e-commerce activities, including promotions, financials, and operations required
  • Thorough knowledge of online retailer policies/procedures required
  • Thorough knowledge of digital marketing, including advertising programs and merchandising tactics required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) highly preferred
  • Advanced analytics and eCommerce software/platform experience highly preferred
  • High-level proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools required
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills required
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information

This role may require occasional travel to customer and sales meetings.
