**Job Title:** SEO Strategist

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned SEO Strategist to join our team. As an integral part of our digital marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies that drive measurable growth in organic traffic, rankings, and revenue for our clients.

  • This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices across technical, on-page, and off-page disciplines, with the ability to translate analytics into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored SEO strategies aligned with client goals, utilizing industry knowledge and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO is integrated into overall marketing plans, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Stay ahead of industry changes, algorithm updates, and emerging trends, applying expertise to maintain high-level performance.
Technical SEO
  • Conduct thorough site audits to identify and resolve crawl, indexing, performance, and mobile optimization issues.
  • Implement structured data/schema markup to enhance SERP visibility.
  • Optimize site architecture, internal linking, and URL structures for search performance.
On-Page Optimization
  • Optimize meta tags, headings, content, and images for target keywords and search intent, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with content teams to develop SEO-friendly copy and landing pages, creating compelling user experiences.
Off-Page SEO & Link Acquisition
  • Develop link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
  • Identify partnership and PR opportunities to earn high-quality backlinks.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Monitor performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
  • Provide clients with clear, actionable reporting and recommendations, driving data-driven decision-making.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with account strategists, project managers, and creative teams to ensure alignment, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Present SEO strategies, findings, and results to clients and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts.
Requirements
  • 2–5 years of professional SEO experience, preferably in an agency or eCommerce environment, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry best practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge creatively.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.), as well as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in one or more specialty areas (technical SEO, content marketing, local SEO, analytics), with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Experience with Shopify, WordPress, and BigCommerce, with a solid understanding of e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with CRO principles and best practices, applying conversion rate optimization techniques to drive business growth.
