About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to join our team at Kmart Group. As an Agile Coach, you will play a key role in driving organizational change management, working with teams, and leading and coaching teams to adopt agile practices and culture within a large organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coach and mentor executives and team members across our business in agile ways of working, principles, and mindset.
  2. Bring the best out of teams by embedding transparency on success metrics, practices such as lean and agile, continuous improvement tools, as well as automation and waste reduction.
  3. Create agile awareness, launch new agile teams, and facilitate agile training sessions.
  4. Drive and orchestrate adoption within Strategic Programs and Technology Platforms.
  5. Develop and codify Kmart and Target's distinctive approach, knowledge, and expertise, continuously evolving based on lessons learned through implementation.
  6. Shepherd the changes to the operating model to integrate the Strategic Programs, Technology Platforms, and traditional delivery models as they mature.
  7. Develop greater capabilities in ways of working by acting as Coach, Referee, and Scorekeeper to monitor our progression and to help ensure our people are successful and "brilliant at the basics".
  8. Stand up future strategic projects and platforms to assist in developing the minimum viable capability in our new ways of working throughout the lifecycle of the Program.
Requirements
  1. A successful and proven track record as an Agile Coach in driving organizational change management, working with teams as well as leading and coaching teams.
  2. Mastery in adopting, establishing, and embedding agile practices and culture within a large organization.
  3. Experience in delivering projects/initiatives/products under an agile methodology.
  4. Agile knowledge, e.g., certified in one or more formal framework or methodology to an expert level.
  5. Exceptional communication skills in connecting people to purpose and outcome, a preference to transparency and openness.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to empathize and create high levels of trust.
  7. Knowledge of and ability to analyze the metrics key to measuring high performance in delivery teams.
  8. Coaching, mentoring, negotiation, and influencing skills commensurate with leading organizational change.
  9. Ability to connect a continuous learning community across Kmart Group, and to establish and maintain a connection to the Agile community in the industry.
  10. Ability to facilitate large room planning and alignment sessions.
  11. Ability to read the room and the situation to know when to adapt your coaching stance from coaching, facilitating, teaching, mentoring, showing, and doing with your mastery in agility, technical, transformation, and business.
