About the Role

Milestone IT is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and drive testing projects while bringing valuable payroll and rostering expertise to the table.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Oversee testing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Apply best practices in testing methodologies and quality assurance to guarantee the reliability and functionality of our IT solutions.
  • Payroll Integration: Leverage payroll experience to integrate payroll systems and processes into our IT projects, ensuring seamless and compliant payroll operations.
  • Rostering Optimization: Utilize rostering expertise to enhance employee scheduling and rostering processes, improving efficiency and reducing operational costs.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient project delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to keep projects on track.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of quality and performance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a strong track record in successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, quality assurance, and best practices.
  • Prior experience with payroll systems and integration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee rostering and scheduling.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
