Job Title: Disability Support Practitioner - Empowering IndependenceEstimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Company OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and compassionate Disability Support Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Currong. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering clients to develop and maintain independence, while advocating for their individual needs.
Responsibilities- Support clients to develop and maintain independence, and advocate for their individual needs.
- Deliver personalized support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administering medication, manual handling using equipment and aids.
- Transport clients in wheelchair-accessible vans and pool cars.
- Monitor the well-being of clients and report on their progress.
- Be part of a fun and dynamic team.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our unique customers.
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster; you will be required to work across morning, afternoon, and active night shifts, including weekend and public holiday shifts.
- Experience supporting customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs, and medical/health needs.
- A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
- Local to the North Shore.
