Family Preservation and Reunification Specialist

As a Family Preservation and Reunification Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to supporting vulnerable families.
Job DescriptionThis role is situated in the Eastern Region, working with the Family & Community Services Team. The specialist will be based at our Forest Hill office and report directly to the FPR Practice Leader.
The Victorian Family Preservation and Reunification (FPR) Program is funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. The program aims to provide an enhanced continuum of care across the state, linking to existing child and family services. It will be evaluated and continuously developed to enhance the FPR evidence-base for Victorian child and family services.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A relevant tertiary qualification, such as a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology, or a related subject area.
- Significant work experience in a relevant field, supporting an understanding of key child development issues relating to young parents and their families who have complex needs.
- An hourly rate of $51 to $53.31 as outlined in the SCHADS Award Level 5, dependent on qualification and experience.
- Salary packaging – up to $18,550 per year, reducing your taxable income.
- Paid Training including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Sanctuary and Cultural Awareness training.
