Cessation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cessation Specialist to lead our smoking and vaping cessation initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will design and deliver programs to support patients in quitting smoking and vaping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement evidence-based programs for smoking and vaping cessation.
  • Train staff on nicotine replacement therapies and best-practice cessation strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to improve impact and compliance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure policies align with the latest evidence.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in health, counseling, psychology, nursing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in tobacco or nicotine vaping cessation and brief interventions.
  • Strong communication, training, and data-analysis skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and electronic patient record systems.
  • A current non-smoker/non-vaper status.
