About This Opportunity
  • Deliver personalized support to customers seeking individual assistance.
  • Collaborate with Northcott staff to implement, monitor and review personalized support strategies and documentation.
  • Work within a capacity-building model with diverse consumers, stakeholders and customers.
  • Provide training on personalized support as needed.
  • Monitor and follow up on corrective action for behavior-related incident reports.

The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification and experience in the disability and/or community sector. They will be confident in using Microsoft Office and have experience working with customers, staff and families utilizing a Positive Behaviour Support approach.

They will also have experience providing skills development support, working within a Person-Centred approach, and supporting a diverse range of customers with disability. A minimum of three years' experience in supporting the development of Behavior Support Plans is essential.

A minimum of three years' experience mentoring staff to implement Behavior Support Plans is also required. The ability to work independently in the community, providing support to customers and their networks, responding to incident reporting as directed, accessing and actively participating in team meetings, supervision and supervised practice are all key requirements.
