Senior Clinician Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the development and operation of a statewide clinical consultation and liaison service aimed at supporting public inpatient services caring for individuals with extreme behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD).

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide tertiary level consultative services to public inpatient services caring for individuals with extreme behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD)
  • Work collaboratively as part of a small team, with peer support, and opportunities for personal and professional growth
  • Contribute to planning and service development initiatives
Requirements
  • Possess registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent qualifications
  • Certificate in Old Age Psychiatry demonstrating specialized knowledge
  • Ability to travel across various regions and provide team-based CL services within inpatient settings
  • Demonstrate sound understanding of principles of Recovery based clinical practice and integrated Mental Health Care
