Senior Behavioral Health Care Specialist

Covenant Health's Parkwest is seeking a highly skilled Senior Behavioral Health Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit and coordinate care planning with other disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health care and excellent communication skills. They will be able to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities include:

  • Correlating patient history and support systems within hospital care/nursing home care.
  • Assessing needs of patient and family.
  • Developing and initiating plan of care, involving patient and family.
  • Recommending interventions.
  • Evaluating plan of care.

This position requires a minimum of three (3) years professional experience and Tennessee State RN licensure. CPR certification is also required.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.

Minimum Experience: Minimum of three (3) years professional experience.

Licensure Requirement: Must have and maintain Tennessee State RN licensure. CPR required.
