Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a Family Support Specialist to work closely with parents to identify their goals and support them on their pathway to achieving these goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with participants to identify activities that will help them reach their education and employment goals
  • Undertaking reviews of plans and responding to any changing requirements
  • Developing community networks to refer clients and suitable local services
  • Completing administration tasks accurately as per policies and procedures
  • Adhering to Work Health and Safety compliance requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Pas sion to engage with parents to help them identify and reach their education and employment goals
  • Experience in Community Services or Employment Services is highly desirable (Workforce Australia, ParentsNext, Transition To Work, Disability Employment Services)
  • Ability to network and keep up to date with local services that can assist participants with addressing barriers to employment
  • Exceptional time management, administrative and computer literacy skills
  • Evidence of Covid 19 Vaccination
