As we navigate the evolving energy sector, we're growing our workforce to drive innovation and transformation.

Our organisation plays a crucial role in delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable energy to millions of Australians. We operate over 13,000 km of high-voltage transmission lines and 128 substations across NSW and the ACT, connecting electricity generators to the distribution network – powering homes, businesses, and communities.

The Apprentice Programs Coordinator will take responsibility for designing, coordinating, and delivering our apprentice development pathways. This includes TAFE integration and rotations, specialist programs, and skills development to ensure every apprentice has a structured, supportive journey that sets them up for success.

This critical role involves mentoring and guiding apprentices, working closely with trainers, supervisors, and TAFE partners to deliver training that is compliant, practical, and future-focused.

As the ideal candidate, you are passionate about early careers and building the next generation of skilled tradespeople. You thrive on supporting apprentices, balancing program logistics, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.

You'll bring experience in apprenticeship or workforce program coordination, understanding of VET frameworks and competency-based training, strong mentoring, communication, and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinate core apprentice programs
  • Oversee TAFE integration
