About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team of innovators. As a key member of our Functional Phosphoproteomics Lab, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining cutting-edge pipelines for large-scale proteomics datasets.

This pivotal role comes with an estimated salary of $93,675 - $106,500 per annum + superannuation benefits, reflecting your significant contributions to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop innovative tools for data analysis in regenerative medicine.
  • Contribute to the development of machine learning-based tools for data processing and web-based tools for data visualization.
  • Manage large proteomics datasets produced by the group, ensuring seamless integration and analysis.
  • Implement best practices in software engineering, including version control with Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Develop hands-on experience in bioinformatics pipelines and resources for use by group members.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Relevant expertise gained through a combination of experience, training, or professional accreditation.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, web development, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and bash scripting.
  • A strong interest in software development and machine learning.
