Research Assistant Scientist Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Research Assistant Scientist to join our dynamic team at the Functional Phosphoproteomics Lab.



Key Responsibilities


  • Support large-scale drug screens conducted by the research group
  • Create and execute standard operating procedures for processing a high volume of biological samples, utilizing robotic and liquid handling systems, in collaboration with computational team members
  • Prepare samples for mass spectrometry analysis as per established protocols.
  • Maintain laboratory stocks, including buffers, reagents, standards, and cell lines


Requirements


  • Degree/Honours/Masters qualification in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline
  • Appropriate level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training, or professional accreditation
  • Knowledge and proficiency in cell culture, cell biology, and protein biochemistry
  • Basic knowledge of pharmacological and drug screening concepts
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
