About the Opportunity

The Murdoch Children's Research Institute is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Orthopaedics Project Assistant. This exciting role will provide administrative support to the Orthopaedics Research Group, working closely with the Clinical Research Coordinator to support research projects and registries.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide generalist administrative support to the Orthopaedics Research Group, including data collection, data entry, and data management;
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Research Coordinator to ensure seamless delivery of research projects and registries;
  • Work closely with the orthopaedic team of surgeons, nurses, and therapists to foster trust and curiosity in research projects;
  • Assist with participant recruitment, data collection, and REDCap database management.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant qualification in a field such as science or a related discipline, combined with appropriate level of expertise gained from experience, training, or professional accreditation. You will also possess excellent computer skills, including Excel spreadsheets, database programs, patient management platforms, and statistics. Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Adobe PDF is required.
