At the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, we are seeking a skilled Orthopaedics Project Assistant to support our research team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of researchers, clinicians, and professionals to improve outcomes for children and families.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification, such as a Science or related discipline degree, and experience in data collection, entry, and management. They will also possess excellent computer skills, including Excel spreadsheets, database programs, patient management platforms, and statistics.

The salary for this position is approximately $75,000-$80,000 per annum, plus superannuation benefits. This is a full-time contract position, working 30.4 hours per week over 12 months. The role offers a range of benefits, including flexible working options, career development opportunities, and access to ongoing training programs.

The position requires the candidate to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage patients and families in research projects. They must also be able to work collaboratively with the Clinical Research Coordinator to support research teams and undertake administrative functions.

The successful candidate will be employed under the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, working within the RCH Orthopaedic clinical department. They will be part of a dedicated research team supporting the ORG research streams and will have the opportunity to contribute to Australia's largest child health research institute.
