We are seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our national sales team as a Business Development Manager - State Sales Lead. This is a newly created role as part of our growth strategy, and we are looking for someone to manage and grow sales in Perth in line with our Territory Management Plan.

About the Business

Our company, Monitum, is a growing, privately owned Australian business that specializes in providing a range of products to the construction and building industries. We are constantly searching for experienced and talented sales professionals to join our national sales team.

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager - State Sales Lead, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales in Perth, working closely with our national sales team to achieve our sales results. You will have a strong business development component, and existing contacts and relationships within the building industry would be an advantage.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Sales and Business Development with a stable employment history (ideally 3 years+).
  • Growth focused with demonstrated ability to lead and drive the charge to increase market share.
  • Experience within the Waterproof/Concrete/Construction Industry is ESSENTIAL.
  • Proven track record initiating, developing and maintaining long term client relationships to generate sales.
  • Ability to provide solutions for clients.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities to ensure efficient communication.
  • Highly motivated, committed, team focused and reliable.
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and loyalty.
  • Positive, friendly and outcome focused.
  • Experience with a CRM system is highly regarded – Ideally Dynamic.
  • Experience with Project Tender sites such as EstimateOne and Cordell Connect will be advantageous.
  • MUST HAVE a current drivers licence with a clean record.
  • Must be prepared to undertake 1 week of training in our head office.
