Job Description

Job Title: Music and Arts/Cultural Curriculum Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Music and Arts/Cultural Curriculum Leader to join our team at Townsville Catholic Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the arts and cultural program in the College, supervising teachers and teacher aides, and contributing to the leadership of the College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the arts and cultural program in the College, including coordinating the work of staff and monitoring program outcomes.
  • Supervise teachers and teacher aides engaged in the program, including induction of new staff and pastoral care of staff.
  • Contribute to the leadership of the College through active participation in staff and middle leadership meetings.
  • Regularly communicate with the Senior Leadership Team regarding issues of interest or concern.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
